Three Kings on DVD
Staring: George Clooney Mark Wahlberg
Ice Cube
Director: David O. Russell
'In a war without heroes there are
kings'...
George
Clooney, Mark Wahlberg and Ice Cube are the "Three Kings". They are
American soldiers based in the Iraq desert, with operation Desert storm, it is
the end of the Gulf war, and they want to go home with something more than just
sand fleas...
After a night of partying and
celebrating they find a map that they believe will take them to a huge stash of
Saddam Hussein's gold in some secret bunkers, they set out for the remote desert
location in only a Hummer, in which they have a close encounter with a cow on
their way to the gold.
All does not go to plan and, while
the war is officially over, the remnants of it continue to follow them and their
once simple plan turns into a journey that drastically changes their own lives
and the lives of many others. Including an over curious female, American,
journalist who’s efforts to get a headlining story lead her to be in the
middle of the kings battle for the gold.
Special effects, especially huge
explosions, play a major part in this movie, as do the trigger-happy fight
scenes.
